The Virginia Young Democrats take great pride in actively creating and supporting legislation during every session of the Virginia General Assembly. While this often takes the form of openly lobbying members of the General Assembly and testifying before committees throughout the legislative session, VAYD also hosts a Lobby Day every year on Martin Luther King Day. Young Democrats from all over the Commonwealth come to Richmond to show support for VAYD's progressive legislative agenda.
