Virginia Young Democrats To Push for Medically-Accurate Sex Education
Richmond, VA -- On Monday, February 5th, the Virginia House Education Committee will consider House Bill 159, sponsored by Del. Sam Rasoul.
The legislation requires that every locality in Virginia offer sex education courses that are medically accurate.
"This is a common sense bill that will give students real, medically-accurate facts so they can make healthy decisions," said VAYD President James Lewis.
