Quick and easy ways of helping out...

Have you been wondering what you can do to get involved in the excitement of this year's elections? Here are a few simple suggestions for things you can do to get motivated and help out!

One of the easiest and most fun ways of getting involved is attending Democratic meet-ups and parties in your area. This coming Sunday July 20th there will be a "Southwest Virginia Unite for Change Day" where anyone can come out to Bissett Park in Radford, VA from noon to 3pm for some food, music, and games to celebrate the vision and hope of a future led by Barack Obama. To find Obama events in your area, simply go to the Barack Obama website ...and the same goes for any of your other favorite politicians!

Another great way of getting involved on Obama's website is using the neighbor-to-neighbor tools. You can send e-mails, make phone calls, or even go door-to-door. This is such an easy way of really helping out with the grassroots campaign. The best thing about these tools is that you are talking to people you know or people you live near and all the information is right there on the website so you don't have to be nervous about not knowing what to do.

So go out there and get excited about the elections while doing your part to get Democrats elected across the board!
