Governor Warner visits the VCU campus and highlights the importance of youth involvement

Governor Mark Warner visited the VCU campus  Tuesday to participate in a Richmond political tradition, Happy Hour with a purpose. Congressman Bobby Scott and Secretary of Administration Viola Baskerville joined him.

In his speech, Governor Warner said young voters will make the difference for democrats in the fall elections. In the year of the young voter, youth votes and especially involvement will deliver democratic victories. Warner also emphasized the importance of maintaining America’s stature in the world and the need to develop an economic plan that keeps the promises of the previous generations for the next.
