Young Democrats Well Represented at Sorensen Family Reunion
Tons of politicos were in North Garden this weekend for the Sorensen Family Reunion. It was awesome to see Democrats well represented at the reunion for such a renowned program. VAYD Executive Director Toby Quaranta, ODU Young Democrats President Tiffany Gibson, JMU Young Democrats President Lauren Gilbert, Former Longwood University Young Democrats President Trent Armitage, and York High School young Democrats Ben B and Corrigan B were amongst the Dems Represented!
Lynchburg United Young Democrats Launched!
The Lynchburg United Young Democrats (LUYD) – a coalition of Young Democrats from the Lynchburg area – held their first meeting this weekend. The LUYD meeting had Young Dems represented from Randolph College, Lynchburg College, Liberty University, the city of Lynchburg, and the city of Bedford!

Chapters Across Commonwealth Kicking Butt with Canvassing
Reports are coming in from all across the state – from the Roanoke to Arlington to Hampton Roads and everywhere in between, Young Democrats are getting out and canvassing. A Special shout out to the Roanoke College Young Dems, the Arlington Young Dems, the Radford Young Dems, the Charlottesville-Abermale Young Dems, the VCU Young Dems, the Christopher Newport Young Dems, and the William & Mary Young Dems for getting out!
Young Dems Cover Roanoke Pride with Senator Edwards (D-Roanoke)
Morning rain didn’t damper the spirits of the Pride-goers in Roanoke, and they were duly rewarded with a beautiful and sunny afternoon. With the help of Senator John Edwards, the Virginia Young Democrats were able to sign up 200 volunteers for the campaigns!!! Congratulations to the Roanoke Pride in the Park committee for a great event!
