In other news, College Democrats of America will be having their convention in Washington DC from Thursday, July 23-Sunday July 26 at George Washington University. If you are from a college and interested in attending, early registration is $50 and is offered through May 31. Also, don't forget about submitting an application for your absentee ballot for the June 9 primary if you will be away from where you are registered to vote! Information about absentee voting in Virginia, including a ballot application, can be found at http://www.sbe.virginia.gov/cms/Absentee_Voting/Index.html. Remember, the deadline to apply is JUNE 2, but it is always best to apply well in advance!!!
