Krystal Ball is an entrepreneur, software designer, CPA, and Young Democrat running for Congress in Virginia’s 1st Congressional District. Krystal grew up in King George County and now lives in Fredericksburg with her husband Jonathan and their daughter, Ella. As a newcomer to politics, Krystal has motivated and inspired Democrats of all ages with her enthusiasm and fresh perspective on how to make Washington work for us. She understands the importance of a balanced budget and as a CPA actually directed a project to reform our Federal Courts accounting system.

Today is the anniversary of the youth vote! On this day in 1971, the 26th Amendment was adopted making the voting age 18 years old nationwide. Celebrate YOUR right to vote by making your voice heard this election season. Register to vote, or ask 5 friends whether they are registered. Then sign up to volunteer for our targeted congressional elections to amplify your impact: Rick Boucher in the 9th, Gerry Connolly in the 11th, and Young Democrats Glenn Nye in the 2nd and Tom Perriello in the 5th. Latest Rasmussen polling shows that Bob "Working Women are a Detriment to Society" McDonnell leading Creigh Deeds by ONLY TWO POINTS. That's down from 9 in the previous poll. Additionally, "Fifty-two percent (52%) of voters now say the writings are at least somewhat important in terms of how they will vote. That’s up from 36% in the previous survey."

We've got the momentum and we've got the right message. Let's take it to the voters!
